Welcoming
Welcoming, extremely comfortable, delicious breakfast, fab views. Hosts could not be more helpful and considerate with our route planning and local information. Rooms very comfy and every provision.

Friendly Welcome
Excellent location for walking or cycling the South Downs Way. A friendly welcome from Graham and Valerie who did everything they could to make us comfortable, and special thanks for the help in getting our car to our finish location as we were doing a linear walk. Nice room and comfy bed and a good breakfast to set us on our way.
SDW Trip
Stayed at Tallai second night of 3 days trip on the SDW. Very convenient location on the rote , pub nearby, very hospitable hosts, clean and well furnished rooms and a great breakfast to send us on our way. What is not to like? A strong recommendation.
All Home Comforts
I have stayed at the wonderful Tallai B&B two nights ago. It was ideally located in Pyecombe where the South Downs Way goes through. I had a shared bathroom, and was thoughtfully provided with a towelling dressing gown. The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. Breakfast was freshly prepared, and included fresh fruit. I would thoroughly recommend this welcoming guest house as a comfy stopover on the South Downs.

When we arrived Graham helped us with our luggage as we were going to a wedding the next day
Nothing was to much trouble for Valerie and Graham we were in room number 2 with super king size bed spotless and clean
Breakfast was fantastic
The hosts were very helpful and friendly

Perfect Stop
After a long day walking the South Downs Way we were delighted to receive a very warm welcome on arriving at Tallai House. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable with an excellent power shower and a lovely super king bed. Breakfast was delicious and the setting perfect as just a very short walk from the trail.
Lovely Stay
We stayed overnight at the Tallai House whilst walking part of the South Downs Way. Graham and Valerie were excellent hosts. They made us feel very welcome. Rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious (we had the porridge with Baileys - very decadent!). Location was perfect being just metres away from the South Downs Way.

Faultless
Arrived after a 22 mile walk from Amberley, exhausted. Received a warm welcome from our hosts Val and Graham . The house was beautiful, spotless and the bedroom complete with a super king bed was perfect.
Breakfast the next morning was excellent and the owners were absolutely charming. I cannot fault this accommodation at all . Absolutely perfect and easily the nicest place we stayed out of the 8 hotels/ bed and breakfasts on our South Downs Walk .
